Trying to add a Thingy:91 to nrfcloud and I get "device already associated with tenant".

Hi I have a couple of Thingy:91 devices, which we are using to evaluate the 9601 SoM.

The devices ran out of credit, but after buying more iBasis credit still would not connect to nrfcloud. 

So I deleted one and tried to re-add, and now I get an error about the device already being associated with a tenant.

How can I un-stick it?

Hi! It seems that deleting the device through the nRF Cloud UI didn't work.

Please take a look at this tutorial. The Delete device section explains how you can use the nRF Cloud API to delete a device. Try doing this and then re-adding your Thingy:91.

Let me know if it's still not working.

Hi Heidi, thanks for the suggestion, the API delete endpoint seems to have done something; now I get a different error.

The API delete worked, but now I can't re-add the device.

I have two iBasis sims that were both previously activated and working, but now one is marked inactive (and just times out if I try to activate) and the other is marked 'not associated', but was previously associated.

Device add now gives me 'nrf-[myimei] is not a valid id' , which I think means the SIM is not connecting?

Hi, that sounds like a problem with the certificates on your device. Could you run through this tutorial and let me know how it goes?
