Determine RAM usage using mesh CMake compilation

I'm using the CMake scripts in the Nordic mesh SDK to build my project, as the project uses CMake libraries. I want to determine the RAM usage of my application. I saw this post but the CMake ARM gcc build doesn't generate an out file, it generates an elf file. Is there any way to determine RAM usage from the elf/map files?

Hi Nick, 

You can use GNU ARM (GNU Tools Arm Embedded) arm-none-eabi-size.exe tool with the .elf (or .out) file

Thanks! This is just the RAM used by my application, how can you determine the RAM used by the softdevice? Or is that documented somewhere?

It would be the RAM used by your application and the mesh stack but excluding the RAM used by the softdevice. You can find the RAM reserved for the softdevice by looking at the start address of the RAM for the application.
