Cant connect to devices via LTE Link Monitor

Im trying to connect Thingy:91 and Thingy:52 to my mac book pro using USB cable to use AT config commnads. In both cases I'm getthing the following messages in the log window:

15:14:51.883
Application data folder: /Users/angelo/Library/Application Support/nrfconnect/pc-nrfconnect-linkmonitor
15:14:52.031
Error while probing devices: Error occured when get serial numbers. Errorcode: CouldNotOpenDLL (0x7) Lowlevel error: JLINKARM_DLL_NOT_FOUND (ffffff9c)

Am I missing anything?

Tks

  • Hi, if you take a look at this page, the documentation states the for macOS the J-Link driver needs to be separately installed. Download and install it from SEGGER under the section J-Link Software and Documentation Pack. Without it when running the apps you would otherwise get error messages when running the apps like CouldNotFindJprogDLLCouldNotOpenDLL or JLINKARM_DLL_NOT_FOUND.

Side note: the Thingy:52 does not have a modem so one can't use AT commands to communicate with it.

    Best regards,

    Heidi
