How long does the antenna stay active after an advertisement

I am currently developing a peripheral app on a custom board with a nrf52832 chip on it and connecting to the device using QT's ble library. I'm having issues where my connection requests aren't syncing up with the advertisements due to the antenna being off. How long after I receive an advertisement does the chip listen for connections. Also is this configurable. I'm using sdk11 and sd s132

Hi,

The radio will be in RX mode for 60 µs, this is according to the BLE specification and is not configurable. Could you provide a sniffer log of the attempted connection?

Ok Thanks. It Turns out QT had a connection timeout of ~2 sec and our advert delay was 1.5 sec. So by the time we got 2 adverts in Qt had already timed out.
