Board nrf52840_pca10056 serial communication with UART

I came across the nrf-connect SDK sample UART: https://github.com/Rallare/fw-nrfconnect-nrf/blob/nrf9160_samples/samples/nrf9160/uart/src/main.c. I was wondering whether this sample will also work on a  nrf52840_pca10056 board ?

No, this example will not work on an nRF52840 DK. Please see our UART examples in the nRF5 SDK for examples that are compatible with the nRF52 series devices.
