Can I use nRF8001 as a beacon to only transmit data which can be received any phone that comes in range of nRF8001

Yes, you can. You could have a look at the broadcast example in the nRF8001 Arduino SDK here.

But while we broadcast the information.. can i save the information in non volatile memory and then disconnect arduino so that it keeps transmitting the information.... without the arduino.
