Openocd commands for upgrade modem firmware

I would like to know if it is possible to flash the modem firmware through openocd, we have been able to program the application firmware using this version of openocd. 

Flashing on the first time still seems to be an issue as reported here.

We have also tried using the pynrfjprog but this is also unreliable and sometimes I need to erase the chip in segger to flash the application using this lib, using the probe.erase() doesn't seem to have the same effect as erasing in segger

Hi Ronan,
The workaround for the issue reported in the link you posted is to "erase all" before you flash the application in SES.

However, if you flash an application with the newest nrfjprog (v10.4.0) via the command line or Programmer app, you shouldn't need to do that extra step.

When it comes to flashing the modem firmware via the command line, the only option is using the pynrfjprog as you have discussed here.

In the other thread for upgrading the modem firmware, I was told to use nrfjprog 10.3.0 as there were issues with Linux. The erase does still seem necessary when using pynrfjprog and sometimes when I tried upgrading the modem firmware through the "Programmer" app. Also, we are using nrfjprog --eraseall now instead of segger erase to speed things up

I will continue flashing my batch of boards and return with any issues
