Reading the battery voltage level from ADP5360 on Thingy:91

In our final product, we wish to send the battery voltage level with other data to our server so that our customers can see how much the battery is drained. I am seeing that ADP5360 is connected to nRF9160 using I2C and the power manager IC has a voltage indicator.

Is there any example code or maybe information or resources that we can leverage for reading the battery voltage from power manager IC( ADP5360) on Thingy:91 using nRF9160?

As suggested above, We have successfully ported battery level in our asset tracker application.

After flashing the image for Thingy91: nRF9160_pca20035, we could not see any battery level value in our logs.

Please help me out to read the battery voltage from PMIC(ADP5360) on Thingy91 using nRF9160.

Hi ,

You can find an example in the NCSv1.4.0 using AWS_IoT. You can use that code to get the battery level in mV. 

C:\ncs\v1.4.0\nrf\samples\nrf9160\aws_iot (this example).
