Long Range feature for 52811, 52833, and 52840

Hi all,

from the following webpage, I found the there are3 module will support long range , 52811 ,52833 52840,
I wanted to confirm that the long range support in 52811 and 52833 which only have 4db tx power.
but 52840 can set to 8db level. is it mean 52811 and 52833 can set a hight tx power ?

or they are support setup with lower bit rate on PHY layer ?

Hi,

 

All 3 ICs support Bluetooth Coded PHY, S=2 and S=8. nRF52833 and nRF52840 has 8dBm max transmitter output power, nRF52811 has 4 dBm max transmitter output power.
