How to fit SDK15+S112+APP(with SC)+DFU into NRF52810

Hi,

I need to know if it's possible get the firmware work using 52810 with 192K flash.
As far as I know, S112 takes 100K, APP with secure connection takes ~85K(ble_app_hrs_pca10040_s132.uvprojx), DFU use 24K,
it seems not possible to use 52810 for this configuration.

AM I missing something?

No. 100+85+24 = 209, so you won't be able to fit that into 192K flash. However, you could try to disable logging in the app, by setting NRF_LOG_ENABLED to 0 in sdk_config.h, this should reduce the size of the app, and you might be able to reduce it enough so that it fit into 192K.

I set  NRF_LOG_ENABLED to 0 and the APP size is ~63K, it seem it would work since 100+63+24=187 < 192. But I wonder if peer manager / FDS / DFU or other module would need more FLASH page to store user data? I am not quite sure. Could you clarify this? Thanks.

Yes these modules require additional memory area.

FDS library also will require at least two virtual pages to proper operation, the page size is configurable (default is 1024B). See its documentation for more details: https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/sdk_nrf5_v16.0.0/lib_fds.html
