OpenOCD equivalent of "--recover"?

Hi,

I'm attempting to use OpenOCD to perform the equivalent to "nrfjprog --recover", since we've recently started using that feature.

I read through this case, but it never seems to have been answered:

Has there been any progress / updates on this, since nrf52 is officially supported in OpenOCD now?

There are various threads here that discuss openocd, such as:

But it's not been tested or verified by Nordic, so I recommend to get one of the tools listed on:
https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ug_getting_started/UG/gs/prod_test_prog.html?cp=1_0_6 

During development you may just get an nRF52-DK, which can be used to program and debug external nRF boards given VDD is approx 3V.
