NRF52840 System Off vs Emulated System Off

As regards the NRF52840, I want to make sure that it is in System Off not Emulated System Off. Hence the device must not be in Debug Interface mode.

I want to retain the RAM after a system restart. Any particular lookout for this "Note that these registers are usually overwritten by the start-up code provided with the nRF application examples."?

Hi,

Power cycling the board should be enough to go out of Debug interface mode. See our example on RAM retention for example code on how to use this feature.
