Test DFU with Buttonless DFU

I merge all hex file of Bootloader, Bootloader Settings, SoftDevice and Application with Buttonless DFU code included into one hex file. After that, i recover the device. Every thing is good but  when i power-cycle the BMD-350-EVAL, LED1 doesn't blink at all. I don't know why??

Sorry, but not sure what you mean by "recover" in this context. Could you describe how you do it? Also, does the application start BLE advertising after you've recovered?

i follow this example "https://rigado.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025376053-Add-Nordic-DFU-to-a-SDK-Example" and and when i reach to test the test the DFU buttonless with the new application. This latter doesn't start adversting and the LED1 doesn't blink.

Hello,

It's hard to say what's causing the app to not advertise without debugging it first. Are you familiar with debugging in SES? You may start a  debug session with your application project after you've loaded the  bl_set_s140_app.hex and see if the program even reaches main(). Or you can run 'nrfjprog --readregs' after you've power-cycled the board. The readout may, if we are lucky, indicate what's wrong.

Hello Aymen,

The program looks to be stuck in your application at address 0x26FA8. Possibly inside the app error handler (Error module). Can you try to debug the application and confirm this? The error handler will include information about where the error occurred (file name, line number, and error code).

Yes i confirm there is a app error handler.It doesn't enter "ble_stack_int" function which include "Register a handler for BLE events" and new window open called "app_error_weak.c".

The code above the breakpoint condition will not be greyed if you select the 'Debug' target from the drop-down menu in the top left corner and do a re-build. Do you see log messages in the SES console when you debug the app?

Hello Vidar,

No can't see the log message in the SES console but it running at  "NRF_BREAKPOINT_COND;" and it show me app_error_fault_handler(....).
