SD130 restriction: 1 connection as slave and 3 connections as master

Hello,

where do the SD130 limitations come from. Is it the Bluetooth standard that limits a device to 3 connections as a master and one connection as a slave or is it a limitation because of the needed scheduling in the SoftDevice itself? As far as I know, BLE can support one central that has 7 connections to peripherals, is that right?

RAM memory is what restricts the S130, it currently uses 10kB, not leaving much for the application in the 16kB RAM version. We now have a 32kB version, which is less restricting, so let’s see what happens.
