Rookie seeking help to receive extended adverts

I'm working on a small BLE proof of concept and I have an nRF52840DK board.  I've got Wireshark up and detecting BLE Advertisements.  

One of the devices I am trying to use is using extended advertisements, but I cannot see it in Wireshark.  I see many others, but not this one device.

I am surmising that I need to tell the nRF board to receive extended advertisements, but don't know how.

I see in Wireshark that there are some filters for extended advertisements and when I use them, nothing shows up.

So, the question is "how to get the nRF52840DK to give me extended advertisements in Wireshark?"

Hi Lance, 

Unfortunately, extended advertising is not supported by Nordic sniffer yet. I assuming you are using our nRF Sniffer ? 

You may be able to see the initial packet ADV_EXT_IND but not the actual data extended packets. 

For now, you may need to get a 3rd party sniffer, for example the Ellisys.

That's disappointing....  Any date of an expected release of nRF sniffer that has this feature?

I don't have a date that the feature will be supported, I don't think it will be soon. 

Note that you can scan for extended advertising using S132/S140 softdevice. There is no special requirement, just enable extended=1 in the ble_gap_scan_params_t struct.
