RRC Release Assistance command

Hello,

after the nRF9160 RRC connection the base stations inactivity timer determinates when the connection switches to RRC idle. Is there a AT command to read to the networks inactivity timer and/or shorten the time RRC connected?

Thanks in advance if the "Release Assistance" feature is already supported by the nRF9160 and/or it's planned for the future. Other modem vendors support the "AT+CSCON" command for this.

Hi,

There is a Nordic proprietary %XRAI command that sets release assistance information. It can be used to advice network to command RRC release earlier.

AT+CSCON will be supported in the upcoming modem firmware release v1.1.0
