Magnet vs Electronics

Does anyone knows if a strong magnet could affect the normal performance of a Nordic device such as the nrf51822?

Hi,

 

We have not done any detailed testing on verification, but there are products using our SoCs (nRF51822 among others) in the presence of a magnetic field and as far as I know we have not received any reports that this might be a problem. The only restriction is the DCDC converter, the operation can be affected if the ferromagnetic core of the 10µH external inductor becomes saturated.
