nRF9160DK: verifying eDRX

 Dear Nordic staff and users,

Now I'm trying to confirm that my local LTE operator supports energy saving modes. It went with flying colours with PSM:

at+cereg=5
OK
at+cfun=1
OK
+CEREG: 2,"xxxx","aaaaaaaa",9,0,0,"11100000","11100000"
+CEREG: 1,"xxxx","aaaaaaaa",9,,,"11100000","00010011"

at+cpsms=1,"","","00000011","00100001"
OK
+CEREG: 1,"xxxx","aaaaaaaa",9,,,"00011110","00000100"

And I see that periodic spikes disappear on the chart of cunsumed current.

Alas, it's not so obvious with eDRX. Operator seems to confirm the values I request:

at+cedrxrdp
+CEDRXRDP: 5,"0010","0000","0000"
OK
at+cedrxs=2,5,"0011"
OK
at+cedrxrdp
+CEDRXRDP: 5,"0011","0000","0000"
OK

However, I see no changes in comsunption, at least average current remains the same for 0010 and 0011 intervals during 5 min measurements.

In no way I am an expert in LTE, so I may have missed something.

 Thanks

 Ed
