hello

I'm testing DFU example.

I'm Using nRF connect v3.2.0 & J link 6.44g(The same happens with the latest version.)

Why this error occurred?????

This error occurs when just download a softdevice or download a hex file that merges softdevices.

Could you take a screenshot of what you see when clicking the "No devices available" drop-down menu?

Could you do this as well, please? When your board is connected and powered on.

  • I don't understand what do you mean.

    where is drop-down menu??

  • What do you see when you click here, in the red box on the image?

  • Hi! Can you try updating nRF Connect to v3.3 and the Programmer application to v1.3.1?

  • @Heidi, am having this same or similar problem. Has this been resolved? I have updated to version 3.3 and programmer 1.3.1.  Also,  just recently updated my computer to Windows 10.

  • Hi!

I wouldn't know, since Kevin never responded again. If you're having the same issue, make your own ticket on DevZone and link to this case to give more information.

    Best regards,

    Heidi

  • I believe I have solved my issue. I was using a USB hub to connect to the Segger J-Link. When I reconnected it directly to my "new" computer, the issue went away. I believe there must be a timing issue using the Hub that manifested itself exactly as shown above in Keven's information.  Background: the problem occurred after changing computers, now running Windows-10, and then re-installing the nRf connect, python, programmer..etc. Needless to say, It took me a while to try changing USB ports!
