Can't finish provisioning with nRF MESH IOS App v2.1.0

Hi all,

since new version of IOS nRF Mesh App I can't finish provisioning of my nRF52840 DK with flashed light example client.

When I start provisioning for the device it ends after a few seconds. Messages are "Connecting", "Discovering services", "Device disconnected".

What I have done:

1. Connect first DK via USB  to my laptop.

2. Start Segger, "Connect J-Link", "Erase all" and "Build and Run"

3. Start nRF Mesh IOS App and "Add" the nRF5x Mesh Light => everything works fine

4. Disconnect first DK and connect second DK

5. Repeat step 2 and 3 for "nRF Mesh Switch" => now I get the described messages

Can someone help or reproduce?

    Thanks for the detailed description.

    Have you made any changes to the examples, or are you using them as the come in the nRF5 SDK for Mesh?

    Could you add a screenshot of the provisioning log in the Mesh app when the provisioning fails?

    I’m using the original example which is coming out of the box of the nRF mesh 3.2 sdk.

     

    Can you tell me how I can see the log messages in the app?

    I can’t find it...

    Thanks. Could you add some more information about this; 
    Which version of the nRF Mesh app are you using?
    Which iPhone are you using?
    What do you mean in step 4 (Disconnect first DK and connect second DK)?

    I tried reproducing, but I don't have any issues when provisioning the Light switch client/server example.

  • I'm using nRF Mesh SDK 3.2.0, the nRF Mesh v2.1.0.app and my IPhone 6.

    In Step 4 I disconnect the first nRF 52840 Developer Kit (DK) and connect the second DK ;)

    I've tested it today on my other Win 10 machine. Unfortunately it doesn't work to.
    I could provision the light client (switch), but it is not completed. See the screenshot.

    The same happens when I build and run the light server (light).
