can I remote things through IoT SDK and Internet

I have achieved the demo referring to the IoT SDK and can control the lights on the nRF51 DK through the Firefox browser with Copper plgu-in in the LAN.Recently I want to try it in the WAN,image if I can remote the light or others in USA when I am in Norway through Internet, how exciting it is!But how to do this?Is our IoT SDK softdevice support the DK to be a remote server like Google server assigning a global address by ISP when it connect to the Raspiberry Pi?Or is there any better solution to finish it?Thank everybody!

  • Yes, the availability across the globe based on the IPv6 address is what you could do. You need to have online routing available for your setup to work and hence also end to end IPv6 possibilities. If there's limitation on your IPv6 availability you can achieve this by tunneling or use an online broker for the messaging system. There are commercial solutions available for this as well.
