nRF5 SDK vs nRF Connect SDK

I'm currently investigating nRF Connect SDK.
The nRF5 SDK (15.3.0) has a function to notify the advertise scan reception channel, but the current nRF Connect SDK does not seem to have a function to notify the reception channel.

Will this valuable feature disappear in the future?

Hi,

Are you referring to the scenario when you are the central, and during scanning you get the event BLE_GAP_EVT_ADV_REPORT, with information about the channel the advertising packet is received on ?

Or the scenario when you are advertising, and you get the event BLE_GAP_EVT_SCAN_REQ_REPORT, because a central/scanner requested the scan response packet ?

My scenario is that recieve BLE_GAP_EVT_ADV_REPORT chnnel.

And , My products already use BLE_GAP_EVT_ADV_REPORT channel value on nRF52832 +SoftDeviceS132.

Hi,

Looks like this is not supported in Zephyr today.

You should create a feature request in Zephyr for this, and explain that you want the channel the adverting packet was received on in the bt_le_scan_start() callback.
