Need help to make nRF52840 Dongle as BLE sniffer

Hi Nordic Team,

In the recent Nordic APAC Event, we got nRF52840 Dongle and we would like to use it as BLE sniffer.

Can you please point out some resource/link which can be followed for this?

After doing some google etc., we tried out this https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/40331/nrf52840-dongle-sniffer etc. but no help. The Dongle with us is PCA10059, 1.2.0

In the Nordic Event, this dongle was distributed and we were told that we could use it as BLE sniffer.

But I don't see it getting mentioned here...

To use the nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth LE you need either the nRF52840 DK, nRF52 DK, nRF51 DK or the nRF51 Dongle.

Hi,

Is it possible that they may have been referring to our Zigbee/Thread (15.4) sniffer? This version runs on the 52840 dongles. There is no BLE sniffer FW for the 52840 dongle, not officially at least.
