Unsupported device with NRF connect for PC

Hi,

 

I got a new USB840M that have only the NRF52840 with a USB connector, I installed the nordic_cdc_acm.inf (driver for USB) for my PC, and my PC started to recognize it as COM PORT.

But when I am trying to use NRF connect for PC i got the following log

How can I fix this to start and program my dongle !?

Hi,

 

We do not have any experience with using nRF Connect with anything but Nordic supported boards, you need to look through the documentation from Fanstel. You might need to programm the bootloader, again we do not have any documentation for anything but Nordic products, but you might find this guide useful.
