CATM1 and CATM2 product

Hello,

There's an interest on the LTE-MTC module.

I can see it's based on nRF9160.

I'd like to inquire about the MTC technology please, does this module support CATM2 i.e. ModeB?

or it supports CATM1 only, ModeA? what is the maximum repetition could support?

Hi Ahmed,

Referring to the product spec:

LTE Modem:

• 3GPP LTE release 13 Cat-M1 and Cat-NB1 compliant
  • 3GPP release 13 coverage enhancement
• 3GPP LTE release 14 Cat-NB2 compliant

The nRF9160 supports only CE mode A
