nRF52 + Windows 10

Hello,

Is there anyone successful in communicating with an nRF52 based GATT server from a Windows 10 App? I’ve skimmed through the forum and do not come across any positive findings.

BTW, Windows nRFConnect app requires a separate dongle (with Central image) to be able to scan for devices and connect to it. Just the windows app is not able to do it on it's own.

We are looking for an option, where nRF52 will work with Windows 10 version 1703 (without ‘dongle’ connected) and above.

From our experimentation, we were never able to establish the connection and read the characteristics from a Windows 10 build. Whereas things are fine with an Android app.

The communication was failing at the time of ‘packet length negotiation’. Windows 10 is expecting the packet exchange at a size of ‘525’, whereas the nRF52 is expecting at ‘247’. I believe, maybe this is where things are going wrong.

Any ideas/comments here is appreciated.
