nrf51 dongle with raspberry pi b+

Is it possible to use the nrf51 dongle with raspberry pi b+ ? I'm prototyping a 6LoWPAN solution where the peripheral nodes are nrf51 devices. I'd prefer the central device to be nrf51 family device. I can see that the downloads page for the dongle provides a raspbian kernel, but no conclusive statement saying I can use it with raspberry pi (I've model b+)

Can anyone please point out if this is possible ?

  • The PCA10000/PCA10031 loaded with the master emulator firmware is only made as a development platform in combination with the master emulator library or the Master Control Panel windows application. It's not a fully qualified and generic USB bluetooth device.
