Theoretical question about mqtt_simple for nRF9160 DK

I'm using the mqtt_simple but I altered the code and added some buttons. Like, change subscriber or topic if I press button 1 or button 2 , things like that. What I want to know is the following.

So, the mqtt_simple is flashed into nRF91 SiP. So it says respect to nRF91 and not to nRF52 right? But the board buttons aren't controlled by the nRF52 SoC that acts has board controller?

I wanted to know if when I'm flashing that specific sample to nRF91, the nRF52 will have any interaction with the program. And if so, what kind of interaction is that.

Or I'm a confusing it and the buttons doesn't say respect to nRF52 specifically.

I'm not sure what you're asking here, but the buttons can be accessed by means of GPIO, the same way as any other GPIO pin. This document shows the pin assignments.
