Implementing a new sensor

I would like to implement functionality to use a digital temperature sensor TSYS01.
I cannot find that this already is implemented in Zephyr so im wondering how i in best practise would implement neccesary functionality to use this component as a Sensor object in Zephyr.
Could someone help we sort out the routine of adding new devices to zephyr i would be happy

I have so far only been testing out zephyr without going trough nordic setup of the environment. Any pros/cons with this?

Could you please ask all Zephyr related questions in the Zephyr forum. 

Nordic contributes device support to the Zephyr open source project and can recommend it as a solution, though we do not offer official technical support for Zephyr RTOS on nRF52 today. This will be supported when nRF52 is officially supported in Nordic Connect SDK in the future.

Other forum users who are experienced with Zephyr are very welcome to answer this here.
