nRF Connect and Direct Test Mode application

Hi,

I see Nordic has recently released an updated software to do direct test mode (without the use of python or the old nRFGo studio). I am able to run the test code on a development kit for nRF52840, but our own board with direct test mode code does not work with the application. The error message I get is "the device with serialnum FTAOCNJ4 is not compatible with this application". What are the requirements for being able to run direct test mode? My custom board is connected to the PC via a serial to USB cable.

The DTM  app on nRFConnect is brand new and does not yet support custom boards. It is still a work in progress, but the app will support custom boards in an upcoming release. For more details on the roadmap of nRFConnect, please contact your RSM.
