Linker unable to locate symbol "nrf_ble_gq_conn_handle_register" despite NRF_BLE_GQ_ENABLED in sdk_config.h

Question

Hi,

While linking I am getting the following error on Nordic SDK 16.0,

XYZ.axf: Error: L6218E: Undefined symbol nrf_ble_gq_conn_handle_register (referred from ble_db_discovery.o).

I have compared my sdk_config.h file with example ble_app_hrs_c and updated it with the following,

Linker is still unable to locate symbols. I would like your suggestion on what else could be missing?

In SDK16 BLE GATT QUEUE is present in components folder. In older version SDK15.3 the nrf_ble_gq was not there. The problem was solved by adding components\ble
rf_ble_gq
rf_ble_gq.c file in the project and adding path to include path. You may need to update makefile ( for header and source inclusion) if you are not using keil for building.
