nRF5340 Off-The-Shelf module

Hello guys,

In next few months I've to put down a new design for a medical product.
Both nRF52840 and nRF5340 would fit well the application requirements.
But I think this is an opportunity for the company to lay the groundwork for an enduring BLE/MCU platform.
This is why I'm intrigued by the nRF5340's potential.
As far as you know, is there any nRF5340-based module upcoming in the next few months ?

Thanks,

Gabriele

  • Hi Gabriele,

I think you will have to wait a while for any modules based on the nRF53 series. The chip isn't actually available yet, and it will take time for modules to follow once it is.

We offer a full range of nRF52 modules in a miniature package and we have an nRF53 device on the roadmap. But it will take some time.

So it depends a bit on your timescales. And of course one must assume all those features will come with a price tag attached :-)
