how to measurements LTE RF

II want to test nRF9160 lte RF performance, whether I only need to connect via USB and then send AT+command command, or whether I need to connect to the uart interface through jlink externally.

Are you using a DK or a custom board?

If you are using a DK, you can send AT commands over the USB connection.
