Long write characteristic

Hi All,

I want to read/write long characteristic (200 bytes max) from Android to my device.

I'm working on the 15.2.0 SDK and S140 Softdevice.

I read some Q&A on the forum, but I still confused on the right method to use :

• Use Queued Writes
• Increase NRF_SDH_BLE_GAP_DATA_LENGTH

Can you show me the right way to implement long write ?

Hi Pascal,

First of all, you should not make any assumptions about the GAP data length if you intend to support a wide range of phones, as that depends significantly.

If by long write, you mean queued writes, you can refer to for instance the queued writes library and  Queued Writes Application example. This is clean, since you first transfer all the new data, and then activate it. (See MSC seen from the client).
