Can I set pca10059 dongle with "nRF Connect" only?

Hi. I want to run the pca10059 dongle so that the BLE is in central mode and is recognized as a virtual port on the pc.
Is it possible to operate with only UUID settings in nRF Connect c3.3.0 without modifying the firmware?
If not, what else is it? Combining the two firmwares is now too difficult for me. thank you.

Hi,

It is not entirely clear to me what you want to do. If it is for testing, then you can use nRF Connect, and add services in the "Server Setup". But the communication (which is virtual com port) will go via the nRF Connect app. Also note that what you see on this virtual com port is SoftDevice serialization, via the pc-ble-driver. So if you cannot achieve what you want using the nRF Connect GUI, then it will require quite a bit of work.
