Software like CubeMX for the nRF52832 on the DWM1001 board and simple examples

Hello,

i am using the DWM1001 Board with the nRF52832. I was curious if there is software similar to CubeMX for this MCU on this board.

So far I have not beed able to find anything so I thought to ask here.

Also, do simple "example" projects exist, so one could build upon them? I found simple demos, like the blinky demo in the nRF5_SDK, 

but the way I saw it, these examples are not compatible with the DWM1001 board. Is this correct? And if so, do examples for this Board exist?

I'd think the examples should compile and run just fine on that module. The only thing I could see you having to change is any pin numbers for LEDs or other external devices.

I see, so I guess I would need to change certain included files such as "boards.h" or other board specific files right? Aren´t alle the nRF_Libraries specific to a nRF board and not the DWM1001?

The SDK getting started guide has instructions for defining your own board header file but you don’t have to use it. I’d say it primarily provides convenient names for certain GPIO. Pin names such as ARDUINO_PIN_SDA and similar are defined in your board file and used in the examples but you can just provide whatever PIN number you’re wanting to use instead.

This is quite similar to cubemx. Currently we support GPIO, GPIOTE, PWM, UART, SPI & TWIM with Segger Embedded Studio project file generation. More peripherals and boards to be supported soon. Please do share you feedback if you try it out.
