ble_app_interactive build fail

Trying to build the app from C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\SEGGER Embedded Studio for ARM Projects\nRF5SDK160098a08e2\examples\ble_central_and_peripheral\experimental\ble_app_interactive\pca10040\s132\ses

Using SES version 4.40 on Windows 7 - 64 bit

I am getting this error: nrf_hw_backend_rng_mbedtls.h: No such file or directory

But the file exists and appears to be in the include path ../../../../../../../components/libraries/crypto/backend/nrf_hw

What have I missed?

Hi,

Suspect it may be related to the path length to your source files - Windows 7 has a limit of 256 characters if I recall correctly. Please try to move the SDK closer to "C:\" to shorten the absolute paths and see if you get the same build error.
