How to read documentation?

SDKs do have docs in markdown format. What is the recommended tool to be able to access all the features?

Tried MarkdownPad2, but it fails for example on @anchor tag.

In my opinion, there should be in the root of each sdk readme.txt file giving basic information where to start to read the .md files.

Hi. 

Which SDK documentation are you referring to here? There is some differences to the documentation depending on what SDK you are referring to.
Note that our documentation is available in our infocenter: 
Software Development Kit 

The nRF5 SDK for Mesh documentation is written in Markdown and Doxygen, and is possible for customers to build themselves. 
Required tools and the approach is listed in the infocenter: 
Installing the toolchain
Building the mesh stack and examples

OK, understand, those .md files are needed to generate the infocenter docs, where everything is linked together.
