Samsung phone doesn't allow some beacons

Hello all,

I am running "ble_app_beacon" example code in nrf52832. when i'm using samsung and honor mobile phones the nrf Connect application is not showing the beacon, but in other phones the application is showing the beacon. I can't understand what is happening in samsung mobile please solve my problem so that the beacon in shown in all mobile phones.

Thank you for your update, Jefferson. Have you also tested scanning for multiple beacons, as that seems to be the way to recreate this problem?

Muthu, I suggest you try contacting the Samsung team, here's a link to their general support center, where you can choose your region and get assistance. I won't be able to help you any further if you can't send me a sniffer trace showing any information about what is happening on the Samsung side of things. Please try making a sniffer trace with scan response enabled so we might see any information from the phone side of things.

I tried 8 custom beacons and 1 PCA10040 board at the same time and it can detect all of them.

Hi Jefferson,

Try using internal crystal oscillator, and test it.Because we are able read the beacon in every other mobile phone.
