Not Able to Connect with Verizon NB-IOT Network with nRF9160 DK .

Hello Guys,

i do have nrf9160 DK with me , and i want to connect with Verizon NB-IOT network in texas, US.

I have upgraded the firmware with latest version :

 Semiconductor ASA nRF9160-SICA [mfw_nrf9160_1.1.0] SerNr: 352656100160814

But somehow not able to connect with Network.

LTE is showing Yellow or RED Color Frequently.

Can you help me out to solve this issue

Hi,

 

From the networks that you discovered, it does not seem that verizon has coverage in your area on NB1?

You get two networks back.

310 410 = AT&T 

313 100 = FirstNet 700 MHz Public Safety Broadband

I have been in touch with Verizon regarding NB connectivity and they have informed me that the nRF9160 is not certified to use NB in the US at this time. They suggested checking with Nordic regarding certification status. Is Nordic actively seeking NB-IoT certification for network operators in the US?

My apologies, you are of course correct. The verizon certification is for M1.
