I start developing with a new MacBook Pro (2019) which only offers USB-C ports. Currently I am facing the issue that the Programmer App does show the connected Thingy 91 device but the LTE Link monitor does not. Meaning with the LTE link monitor I only see "no devices available".
With one older Mac I only have the issue that while LTE monitor is running and I disconnect and reconnect a device the monitor does not recognize that the device was reconnected. Workaround in that case was after reconnecting the device to restart LTE link monitor. But this does not help with the new MacBook Pro.
Any idea what could be the root cause and how to solve that?
Hello Holger,My apologies for the late reply. I have been out of office last days.Does your system see the USB device? Is it only via nRF Connect for Desktop that your system is not able to recognize the device?Kind regards,Øyvind
also sorry for the late reply since I was on business trip.
As mentioned I can see the device when using the Programmer App. Just with the LTE monitor it does not appear.
Hi Holger, I've tried to find a solution to this without luck. Fortunately, the developer team behind nRF Connect for Desktop has got a new Macbook Pro with USB-C and will have a look at this. Can you please provide what version of Thingy:91 you have, and what version of NCS you are using? Have you updated the Thingy:91? What version of nRF Connect for Desktop and LTE Link Monitor are you using? Any information regarding your setup and device will be of help.
