nRF Connect SDK, PHY_CODED support

Hi!

We are interesting in extended adv support, as periph and central role to establish connection in phy coded.

I've read another topic that it doesn't have PHY_CODED support, but it's 5 months have passed. It seems that supports. But I don't understand how to use it. For example in central sample.

Hi, 

To use Zephyr samples on nRF52 series, please follow this guide. More information can be in this link, and as stated in the bottom of the page: "Also if you want to get involved with Zephyr, or simply need help as a user, you can join the Zephyr mailing list or join the #zephyrproject IRC channel."

Nordic Semiconductor is part of the Zephyr Project and contributes with misc. components/software, but we do not give support for Zephyr running on nRF52840.

Yes, I know about it. How I understood, nRF Connect SDK has own bluetooth link layer using softdevice. I asked about this link layer extended advertising support.

Sorry, I do have misunderstanding. It means nRF Connect won't support extended advertising until zephyr has it? May be softdevice in nRF Connect supports it, and it's possible to implement it myself? Can I read nRF Connect softdevice documentation somewhere?

That is correct. 

It does not help to use the Nordic BLE-Controller in Zephyr since it's not supported by the Zephyr Bluetooth Host. You either use nRF5-SDK with SoftDevice (we support it there) or wait for the support in Zephyr.

Yes, I use nRF5-SDK and it works perfect. I would like to migrate to zephyr. If it possible to read somewhere nRF Connect softdevice documentation?
