Clarification regarding nrf9160

Question

Hi, 
 I want to know that, can we use this nrf91 for transferring the real time data with tab or mobile phone beyond BLE range. I mean, do we analyse the real time data from wearable, in which we used nrf9160 SoC? if so, can we use this regardless of distance range. In wearable, is it take so many space for placing SIM, SoC and related stuffs ? what is your suggestion for using this in Wearable?

 nRF9160 can not be connected to a tablet or mobile phone directly, it must be connected to a LTE-M or NB-IoT cellular network. How realtime this will be depends on how you choose to implement your code, what connection intervals you use. This could be relatively short, but this will also use more current. Range is finite, as with all radio devices, and will depend on how close together base stations are in a given area. 
 
 You typically need a battery/power source, a SIM and an antenna, everything else is optional and application dependent. With a wearable there are a couple of challenges, i.e. limited room for a battery, limited size for good antenna performance and SAR requirements.
