Is there a chance to test NFC using 2 Nordic DK's

Hi,

I wanted to test the NFC on nRF52840 DK. I have seen that to test NFC we need a Adafruit PN532 NFC Shield. Why cant we use 2 DK's with NFC antenna to test NFC. I have tested NFC with an smartphone, But i got a doubt why cant we test using 2DK's. 

So i would like to know that is it possible to test NFC using 2 DK's with NFC antenna only ? If yes where can i get the code ?

I would also like to know that the NFC uses TIMER4 so, if i want to change the NFC timer to TIMER3 what should i do ?

The nRF52840 is a tag only, you need a reader to read the tag. The PN532 and a smartphone are examples of readers.
