QSPI nRF52840 for RGB output only shift register

Hi, Wizzards

I understand that the QSPI is made solely for external flash, but we are in a hurry to make a driver for a RGB LED module with a common clock. It would be good to use the QSPI to clock out RGB data.

Is it possible to make the QSPI just clock out n bits, no commands and no addresses, just data? Or will we hit serious bumps on this road?

( next may be to utilize a FPGA of some kind, but then we need to get some help)

Thanks!
