nRFgo Studio crashes when selecting "nRF5x Programming"

Hi,

I have a Laird Development Kit for the nRF52840 (DVK-BLL654PA-R2.0) which I want to program. Unfortunately Keil uVision and nRFgo Studio have problems with programming the device.
nRFgo Studio crashes when selecting "nRF5x Programming", so I cannot erase the chip.

Can anyone help me solve this issue?

Kind regards,
Kai

  • Q2: Unfortunately the Laird support was not helpful at all. That's why I have looked for help here as well.

I have found a solution. The J-Link emulator was out of date, I guess. Starting the "J-Link commander", prompted a popup that there is a new version of the J-Link emulator. After the installation of the new J-Link firmware, everything works as expected.

    Connecting to J-Link via USB...O.K.
