24 days have passed since I was promised an update (which I hope will mean a solution), but nothing...

Also, there is no updated Getting Started Assistant and the instructionshttps://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/gs_ins_windows.html#installing-west seem unchanged.

What is happening regarding this crucial issue?

I have raised this issue internally and they are working on testing and including the improved documentation into a new release.

Unfortunately, it is out of my hands at this time. The teams decide internally how to prioritize these issues.
