Whisper mode (-30 dBm Sensitivity)

Hi,

in nRF52832_PB_v1.4.pdf is mentioned a -30 dBm sensitivity (whisper mode) but I cannot find any further documentation about it.

My question is: is it possible to reduce BLE antenna sensitivity using such mode? How to do it? 

P.S. I know I can reduce tx power

Hi,

This must be an error in the product brief, this value should not be listed under sensitivity, it only affect output power (very low output power of -30dBm).

It is not possible to reduce sensitivity, however you can measure RSSI, and then indirectly get some indication on how close the transmitter is.
