BLE 5 as beacon

Hi

I'm using NRF53840 dongle as master the connect to my controller,
and i need to choose the beacon side NRF,

My application it's, i need to recognize the beacons the locating at the side of the road while the master locating at the vihacle driving at max speed of 40 KM/h (11M per sec),
1. Can the NRF52840 can scan for beacons at this speed ? (3 times at 1 second),
2. Which of the NRF family can i use for the beacon side ? (it have to be low power, battery based).

Thanks in advance

    1. Can the NRF52840 can scan for beacons at this speed ? (3 times at 1 second),

You can configure the  nRF52840 to scan continuously, so the number of beacons that it can detect will depend on the advertising interval of the beacons along the side of the road. As long as the advertisement interval is high enough. e.g. e.g. a couple of times per seconds,  you should be able to detect the road side beacons. You will have to experiment a bit to find the optimal interval w.r.t detectability and current consumption on the beacon side.

    2. Which of the NRF family can i use for the beacon side ? (it have to be low power, battery based).

I would recommend the nRF52810 for the beacon side.
