Thread and Zigbee Support for nRF5340 / nRF Connect SDK

Dear Nordic Community

We are about to develop a Testing-Framwork to compare different Mesh-Networks (Bluetooth Mesh vs. Thread vs. Zigbee) for which we would like to use the nRF5340. Regarding https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Low-power-short-range-wireless/nRF5340, Thread and Zigbee are supported, but the nRF Connect SDK doesnt support these so far. 

Is there a way it is possibel to use Thread or Zigbee on the nRF5340? Maybee by using the nRF5 SDK or the upstream projects (Zephyr) directly. Or could you tell as when support will be added?

I'm sorry, but we don't have software support for Thread and Zigbee on the nRF5340 as of yet, and thus I can't help you on this matter I'm afraid.

Hi 

Thanks for your reply. We have just ordered the nRF5340 PDK and see what we can achieve. We are working for now with the nRF52840 and move to the nRF5340 at a later time.
